§ 9.12.020. Subject to motor vehicle laws.

Every person operating a bicycle upon the public ways of the city of Council Bluffs shall be subject to the provisions of this title and of the statutes of the state of Iowa applicable to the drivers of motor vehicles, except as to special regulations hereof and except as to those provisions of this title and the statutes which by their nature can have no application. Exception: police officers shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter while performing their official duties.
