§ 1.38.050. Bylaws, rules and regulations.

(a)

Adoption and Filing. The agency shall at the time of the first meeting thereof adopt a set of bylaws, rules and regulations which shall govern the procedure and operations of the agency and which shall be consistent with and meet the requirements of Chapter 403A, Code of Iowa. The chairman of the agency shall be charged with the duty of furnishing the city council with a true copy of the bylaws, rules and regulations, as adopted, which copy shall be kept and maintained in the office of the city clerk.

(b)

Amendments. The agency shall have the right to adopt amendments, enact new bylaws, rules and regulations and to repeal any existing bylaws, rules and regulations of the agency, as a majority of its members may from time to time deem necessary and advisable; provided, that the chairman thereof shall be charged with the duty of furnishing the city council with a true copy of any and all such changes, which copy shall be kept and maintained as set forth in subsection (a).
