§ 9.72.230. Signal required.

  • No person shall turn a vehicle from a direct course or change lanes upon a roadway unless and until such movement can be made with reasonable safety, which includes, ensuring the lane or roadway are clear, giving an appropriate signal in the manner provided in Sections 321.317 and 321.318 of the Code of Iowa, if necessary, giving a clearly audible signal by sounding the horn if any pedestrian may be affected by such movement.
