§ 4.19.010. Owner to cut weed nuisance.

(a)

Owners or occupants of all lots and parcels of ground within the city shall immediately cut or otherwise destroy all weeds on their respective lots or parcels of ground which would constitute a nuisance as defined in Section 1.97.030 of this code.

(b)

Upon the failure of the owner or occupant to cut or otherwise destroy weeds which constitute a nuisance, it shall be the duty of the administrative authority to cause the same to be done.

(c)

The administrative authority is authorized to designate an independent contractor retained by the city to perform the duties, or any of the duties, required by this chapter.
