§ 3.08.192. Signage requirements.

  • The person or club holding a liquor license shall post signage as follows:

    (1)

    In a conspicuous place at all exits informing patrons that it is a simple misdemeanor to leave the establishment with an open container of alcohol.

    (2)

    In all outdoor areas that are a part of a liquor license premises, a sign shall be posted in a conspicuous place that identifies the exception in Council Bluffs Municipal Code Section 3.08.045 that the outdoor area is authorized under. It shall state the limited hours it may be used as part of the liquor license premises and inform the patrons of the establishment that it is a simple misdemeanor to consume in the area outside of these hours. It will list the other conditions set out in Council Bluffs Municipal Code Section 3.08.045 for its use, and any that may have been added by the city council at the time the license including the outdoor area was approved.
