§ 17.01.040. Punishment for violations of Title 17.

Latest version.

Any violation of any provision of this title shall be punished as a simple misdemeanor, wherein the penalty is a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or a jail sentence not to exceed thirty (30) days. At the sole discretion of the city attorney, the city may elect to pursue any violation of any provision of this title as a municipal infraction, as set forth in Chapter 1.95 of the municipal code.
