§ 13.23.010. Adoption.

That a certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the building official of Council Bluffs, being marked and designated as the "International Existing Building Code," 2009 edition, excluding:

Appendix A. Guidelines for the Seismic Retrofit of Existing Buildings;

Appendix B. Supplementary Accessibility Requirements for Existing Buildings and Facilities as approved and published by the International Code Council, including the recognized code referenced standards contained in Chapter 14 all as modified or amended in the International Existing Building Code referenced herein; be and the same are adopted as the Existing Building Code of the City of Council Bluffs, Iowa; for regulating the construction, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area, and maintenance of all existing buildings and/or structures within Council Bluffs, Iowa, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of the International Existing Building Code, 2009 edition, published by the International Code Council, which are on file and are open for inspection by the public in the office of the building official are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter.
